Blurring, and un-blurring

A full-image blur softens everything at once — handy for creating a background behind text, a soft aesthetic, or obscuring a whole image for privacy. If you only need to hide a face, license plate, or a piece of text, a targeted pixelate/blur tool is the better choice.

Going the other direction is harder: blur discards fine detail, so a heavily blurred photo can't be fully restored. AI deblurring can recover mild blur by rebuilding edges, but it can only approximate what a strong blur removed.
